Dealing With A Home Inspection Issue
A home inspection is, as you may know, usually included as a condition before your offer. It protects you from problems you might not see during a visit.
What do you do if you find something wrong with the home inspector? The inspector may find a leak in the base or old, drafted and replaced windows.
Do you have to pass on a property you would like otherwise?
Not necessarily. Just because the home inspector found a shortcoming doesn’t necessarily mean you shouldn’t buy the home. However, you should raise the problem with the seller.
